As per the latest official SSC CGL notification, candidates are NOT required to upload a photograph file. The portal captures your photograph live during online registration.
Photo Capture Guidelines
- The new SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) captures live photographs directly via webcam or the 'MySSC' official mobile app.
- Traditional photo file uploads are NO LONGER ACCEPTED on the official SSC portal.
- Stand against a plain, light-colored or white wall with adequate frontal lighting.
- Do not wear a cap, mask, or spectacles/sunglasses during live capture.
Official Portal Steps
- 1.Log in to your One-Time Registration (OTR) profile at ssc.gov.in.
- 2.Navigate to the active application form for SSC CGL Examination.
- 3.Click on 'Capture Live Photo' using your webcam or download the official 'MySSC' app on Android/iOS.
- 4.Align your face inside the on-screen oval guide in good lighting and click Capture.
